To Eat Or Not To Eat, That Is The Question!
To eat, or not to eat: that is the question:
Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The cramps and pains of outrageous consumption,
Or to take arms against a sea of calories,
And by starving end them? To eat: to binge;
No more; and by a sleep to say we end….
I could go on… but I’m sure u get the message right? Shakespeare for today’s society!
This goes out to all you women out there and to those hidden but many men (Yes we know your out there!!) who worry endlessly about what they eat. Who hold up the lunch queues while counting the number of calories in a single pack of crisp and spend forever picking the least fattening item, only to put it right back on the shelf and decide that today (just like yesterday) they shall live on a bottle of water.
Seriously guys, it’s annoying for those of us who have to stand behind you in queues. I mean honestly, don’t you think it’s slightly selfish that you make us (normal people) stand behind you, with our many bags of food, while you play this ridiculous scenario out in your heads? Those things are heavy you know! Oh but then again, i guess you wouldn’t know, carrying a single bottle of water is hardly enough to make you break a sweat.

But don’t worry calorie counters, your not the only ones who go slightly haywire around food. There’s also your friends, the binge eaters. You know those people (yep, they come in male and female too) who always fill their trays to the top, so by the time we (normal people) get there there’s no food left. I’m sure calorie counters, you’d be happy about that, a match made in heaven, but us poor normal people are stuck in the middle of this crazy cycle when all we want is a little food.

Now I may sound like a bitch, but believe me I’m not. Many an occasion I’ve fought the urge to scream “move bitch,get out the way” at a calorie counter in a queue, or ask ” Goddamn, how many people are you eating for?” of a binge eater. But I’ve remained silent, because despite all these annoyances, I recognize your inner struggles and I think its only fair that you, calorie counters and binge eaters, should recognize what you put us through and be more sensitive to us (normal people) as we have been to you.
